Professional Background:

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of The New Change, a virtual psychotherapy practice for women in perimenopause and menopause in California and Florida. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the EMBERS® Menopause-Informed CBT framework to help women manage symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, anxiety, low mood, and brain fog. But the work often goes beyond symptom management. Many women arrive at this stage asking questions about identity, purpose, and how they want to live the next chapter of their lives, and those conversations are just as much a part of the work. My approach is holistic. Alongside therapy, I incorporate lifestyle strategies including movement, nutrition, relaxation, and sleep hygiene, because what's happening in the body and what's happening emotionally are not separate. I also help clients become more informed and confident as they navigate healthcare settings where their concerns are sometimes minimized or dismissed. I offer individual and group therapy, both delivered online. My style is warm and direct, and I work from the belief that most women already have what they need to get through this transition. My job is to help them find it.
