Professional Background:
Patty Fahlstrom, MS, RD, LD, CEDS-S, is a Registered Dietitian and the Owner and Administrator of Bloom Health & Wellness, a nutrition practice licensed in Oregon. She specializes in hormone health, insulin resistance, metabolic health, and menopause, using an eating disorder-informed perspective and a non-diet approach designed to help clients develop greater confidence and sustainability around food choices.
Patty began her career after transitioning from graphic design into fitness management and exercise physiology. Her interest in the connection between nutrition and exercise led her to pursue graduate studies in sports nutrition, during which she also earned her Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
She spent the first 10β12 years of her career working in medical settings before transitioning to high-level eating disorder treatment centers, where she spent 12 years supporting clients in recovery. She later founded Bloom Health & Wellness, bringing together a team focused on providing practical, sustainable nutrition support while helping clients move away from chronic dieting and toward a healthier relationship with food.
Years of Practice: 32 years of experience in nutrition, dietetics, medical nutrition care, sports nutrition, eating disorder recovery, and metabolic and hormone health.
Build a more confident and sustainable relationship with food with Pattyβs non-diet, eating disorder-informed approach to nutrition, hormone health, metabolic health, and menopause.
